Daniel, a mycology expert and entrepreneur, and Kaleb, a semi-pro cyclist and data-scientist recognized the absence of high quality energy supplements in the American market. Could it really be so hard to find an energy-booster that isn't caffeinated or full of added chemicals that make you crash? From energy drinks to prescription stimulants, we realized that most energy supplements were toxic and likely have negative long-term effects.
Together, these two college friends have embarked on a mission to discover an energy supplement that has no strings attached. Something that is clean, but potent & effective... Something that can keep us going on 100km bike rides, or grueling 12 hour days of work. After months of research & deliberation, it was obvious to us that Cordyceps mushrooms were the answer. These humble parasitizing mushrooms have been used in ancient cultures for vigor, and we knew it was time to bring it to the modern age. It was time to compete with the big corporations who push artificial chemicals under the guise of being natural.
Why Do We Believe In Cordyceps?
Our journey began in the cactus habitats of New Mexico, where Danny and Kaleb would attempt grueling 30+ mile hikes in the desert. Energy drinks or coffee would dehydrate us, stimulants were bad for our heart, and energy bars may as well be candy! We really needed something genuinely clean & effective. So, we started growing and creating our own cordyceps in an effort to perfect it as an energy source. When we first started trying our cordyceps, we were astounded at how we were hiking with ease, without the obstacle of exhaustion. Was it placebo effect? We thought so at first, but after repeat attempts and reviewing countless studies with the NIH, our suspicions were confirmed. Cordyceps was truly the answer we were looking for.
'It was surprising to us that traditional offerings were so consistently unhealthy, and that there was so much deception when it came to energy supplements. Even more surprising was the lack of medicinal cordyceps available to consumers, despite the abundance of vigorous and powerful varieties.'
"With Daniel's mycology background and my background in tech and nutrition, our idea seemed like it had potential to become a reality. So we made it happen"
Now, we're proud to ship 100% organic Cordyceps to all 50 US states! The best part? We get to donate $1 from every order in an effort to conserve wilderness.
